A not-to-be-missed culinary experience. A very special evening, part of the series dedicated to the theme of ‘matching’, where the chefs of Vitique host, and work side by side with highly rated chefs.
On 6th December Vitique meets Konnubio: the ‘resident’ chef Riccardo Vivarelli will cook side by side with Beatrice Segoni, all the dished will be paired with the wines of the Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinicolo.
Here’s the exceptional menu and wine pairing: Creamy salted codfish, anchovy and parsley pesto, candied lemon and quinoa (Konnubio), Santa Margherita – Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry 52 2017.
Cuttlefish, Florentine-style tripe, parmesan and beetroot (Vitique), Cà Maiol – Metodo Classico Lugana D.o.p. Brut.
Beetroot, orange zest and bottarga risotto (Konnubio), Terreliade – Timpa Giadda Sicilia Doc 2017.
Brill in potato crust, artichokes and cacciucco sauce (Vitique), Kettmeir – Pinot Nero Reiner Maso Alto Adige Doc 2015.
Ricotta and yogurt cremoso on olive oil shortcrust pastry with lemon and mint cream (Konnubio), Cantina Mesa – Orodoro Isola dei Nuraghi Passito Igt 2017.
The evening starts at 8pm with an aperitif. At 8.30pm the tasting dinner starts. To follow: Tour of the Santa Margherita Tenimenti Toscani cellar.
