On last May 5 and 10, there were two special wine tastings, with San Casciano wineries’ Chianti Classico tasted on a panoramic terrace; our best wines on the Torre dell’Acqua.
The Pro Loco of San Casciano, in collaboration with the Consortium of Chianti Classico wine, hosted two delegations of students from the “Scuola Alberghiera” Hospitality School (ITHQ) of Montreal in Canada, known worldwide for the formation of future professionals in the hospitality field in North America.
Both delegations enjoyed an intense tasting together with San Casciano producers (La Sala, Az. Agr. Solatione, Az. Agr. Casa di Monte, Luiano , Villa Mangiacane, Villa Giulia, Castello di Gabbiano, Podere la Villa, Conte Guicciardini, Bruscola, Carus Vini, Villa del Cigliano, Collazzi, Az. Agr. di Mori Concetta, Terre di Perseto, Le Corti).
The association of producers of Chianti Classico in San Casciano was divided into two groups during the two evenings. At the end of the tasting, a dinner was offered: the first at the Villa Mangiacane, the second at the Villa Le Corti.
