Tuscan wine will present itself to the world on Saturday, February 11, at the “Anteprime (previews) di Toscana”, 10 days of events during which the Tuscan Consortium, which legally protects the wine, will present and tell about, directly in their territories, the new vintages.
The wine sector and journalists from all over the world will attend. The event is connected to Buy Wine 2017, and will start with a press conference, introducing the “Anteprime di Toscana 2017”.
During the event, new economic data and trends regarding the entire sector and research on how Tuscan wines are perceived by the international press will be presented.
The appointment is scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11 AM, at the Forezza da Basso, Cavaniglia Pavillion. The data will be commented on by Fabrizio Bindocci (President of the A.Vi.To Associazione Vini Toscana DOP and IGP) and Piero Antinori (business man). Conclusions will be by Marco Remaschi (Assessor of Agricolture for the Tuscan Region).
Mass media specialist, Klaus Davi, will be the moderator. At 9:30 PM, there will be a ”degustazione” (wine tasting) of the Tuscan territories.
The following Consortiums will participate in the preview, “Anteprime di Toscana 2017”: Bianco di Pitigliano e Sovana, Brunello di Montalcino, Carmignano, Chianti, Chianti Classico, Colline Lucchesi, Cortona, Elba, Maremma, Montecucco, Morellino di Scansano, Nobile di Montepulciano, Orcia, Val d’Arno di Sopra, Val di Cornia, Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
