How about a fair dedicated to antique and rare books in the historic centre of Panzano in Chianti? The recently founded startup Chianti.pro has submitted this proposal to the Municipality of Greve in Chianti.
“The location will be the high part of Panzano – explains Raffaella Anziano, owner of Chianti.pro – the area enclosed between the ancient walls and the panoramic point”.

Why this idea of a book fair in the heart of Chianti? “Because”, says Anziano, “such initiatives don’t happen often in Tuscany or in Italy, and yet there are so many ancient books enthusiasts, including myself. Panzano is the ideal place to host this exhibition, which hopefully will become an annual fixture and important event in Italy”.
The founder of Chianti.pro sees it is an opportunity to promote the area of Greve in Chianti. “This is my mission – says Raffaella – Welcoming tourists and making them feel at home here, and promoting the people that live and work in Panzano”.
The book fair is only one of the many initiatives of Chianti.pro. “We’ve asked the City Council to collaborate on the creation of ” GreveApp “, an application that allows Greve in Chianti to enter the tourism digital marketing world. We are also working on the organization, here in Panzano, of a Festival dedicated to beauty, and soon there will be a sommelier course”.
