“Winery visits”. This is the name that distinguishes the didactic project just signed by the Tuscany Wine Tourism Movement and the Fisar (Italian Sommelier Federation of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs) with the aim of combining the extraordinary nature of Tuscan wineries and wines with the teaching of the association that collects in Italy over 11 thousand members in addition to the many new students enrolled in courses to become sommeliers.
They are particularly interested in the agreement, allowing first level course groups to organize educational visits to the MTV Toscana cellars that join the initiative to deepen their basic knowledge of the production of quality wines.
MTV Toscana and FISAR have decided to activate a project for visits to the cellar, so that they can contribute on both sides to the more in-depth knowledge of the world of wine.
The Tuscany Wine Tourism Movement will guarantee special treatment, in addition to a series of ad hoc activities, for all members of the Fisar, starting from the first level.
Visits to the cellar or educational for groups or individuals, purchases in wine shops, special tastings studied together with the company as well as the possibility of attending promotion events of the individual cellars that will be marked by a special window sticker.
Fisar will undertake to insert the wineries participating in the initiative in the new georeferenced Web platform on its website, promote the initiative on the official website and in the digital monthly magazine #infamiglia as well as communicate the project to all members and delegations.
