Brrr … it’s still cold! It’ll be a while before the temperature gets mild again, so in the meantime we have to protect ourselves from the cold and remember to moisturize our skin.

This is the most important habit to have during winter, to improve blood circulation and prevent the skin from dehydrating and chapping.

Special attention needs to go to the hands that, along with the feet, suffer most from the cold. Rigid climate and sudden temperature changes cause redness, cracking and dryness. And let’s not forget that the hands are one of the body parts that, more than others, reveal our true age, clearly showing signs of aging.

Cold weather and hot water dry out and damage our hands. They are, together with the feet, the most extreme part of the circulatory system where blood flows less rapidly and this can lead to redness and vein exposure.

The skin of the hand is extremely delicate, and the lack of protection and care shows more severely than on the face, with the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation spots and sagging skin. So protect them from harsh temperatures and cleaning products wearing gloves, regularly using moisturizers and once a week applying an ultra-nourishing mask (perfect before going to bed).

With these simple techniques you’ll have soft and smooth hands in no time.
