You don’t completely enjoy it if you don’t lick your fingers: this is the claim for the advertising campaign of a well-known potato. You can say the same for “Dit’Unto”, the event that takes place every second Sunday of October at Villa a Sesta.
This year however, it will be divided into 2 days. On Saturday, October 1, there will be a grand luncheon along the streets of town. The entire proceeds will go to support the people affected by the recent earthquake.
The menu is as follows: pici all’amatriciana, fegatelli (liver), sausage, beans, pie and holy wine, water, wine and coffee.

After this introduction, on Sunday, October 9, arrives the day of Dit’Unto 2016. (4th festival of eating with your hands). There will be 47 stands, seven starred chefs.
What is the recipe? Put many friends and lovers of fine food in the same container, at least 30 cooks, (better if there are 40), popular ones as well as “cool” ones.
Soften it with some good wine and beer, good music, and street artists. Mix it all on the second Sunday of October, adding a bit of creativity and good humor. Success is insured!
