“A day dedicated to exploring the lands of the Chianti Classico, starting from Badia a Passignano. You’ll hear stories narrated by one of the area’s greatest experts, enjoy the tranquility of the woods and charming views, and you’ll also have the chance to taste the best typical products of the area. A day spent in great company will relax you and allow you to forget your cares for a day”.
This is how the organisers present “Badia portami Via”, the historical excursion in the lands of the Black Rooster, to be held on April 14th.
Departure at 8am from Badia to Passignano. Tour of the four chapels, in the footsteps of San Giovanni Gualberto. A 12 km circular route starting and ending in Badia a Passignano; difference in altitude 450 meters (good physical condition and walking experience required).
At around 2pm return to Badia a Passignano, with the possibility of lunch / tasting in the terrace of the Bar DiVino – or you can bring your own packed lunch. At 3.30pm visit to the monastery and finally a nice glass of wine at sunset.
Cost: 13 euros per person. The fee includes the morning tour and the afternoon visit organised by a professional guide – Guida Ambientale Escursionistica (Environmental Guide) with RC insurance.
