They are called “Big Bench”, and they are those huge benches that are placed in panoramic points.

There are currently four in Tuscany, and one is also in Chianti, at Castello di Meleto (Gaiole in Chianti). The others are in Careggine, Pietrasanta and Castiglion Fibocchi.

The video tells all four of them. A video made by Elisa and Enrico, who from their Simpliciare profile tell the beauty of our country.

“We are a couple from Turin who love travel – they describe themselves – simple, authentic and curious things, those that make the heart beat faster”.

“After last year’s lockdown – they continue – we decided to open the Instagram page and the YouTube channel because we are convinced that we have so much to tell and so many dreams to turn into reality. Simplify is a verb that we invented, with the meaning of … simply travel “.

“We saw more than 70 giant benches – they say – and after the first in Piedmont in the province of Cuneo, within a year we went to many other regions of Italy to always look for new ones: Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Basilicata and a few weekends ago also in Tuscany “.

“Here we took a beautiful tour of the four benches of the region – they explain – Careggine, Pietrasanta, Castiglion Fibocchi and Gaiole in Chianti. The latter was a real surprise: completely immersed in a vineyard, with a wonderful castle nearby (Meleto) and a stillness that has left us speechless, immersed in our deepest emotions”.

“We firmly believe – they relaunch – that the benches are a beautiful pretext to get to know new places and people, to savor the food and wine culture and to spend regenerating weekends discovering new corners of Italy”.

“Who knows how far these large benches will take us – they conclude – And who knows how many new corners of Italy we will discover and share with you through our videos”.
