Now that the 24th edition of “Radda nel Bicchiere” wine festival has just finished, it’s time to take stock: we can say that it has once again enjoyed a great success.
Thousands of people came to the village of Radda in Chianti over the weekend of 1st and 2nd June to taste the best of the Chianti wine production and some Colli Tortonesi wines.
The new location along the town’s walls was much appreciated and offered an even greater scope to the event and superb views over the surrounding hills.
Visitors really enjoyed the exclusive tasting experience, organised for a limited number of people, and the first edition of “Radda Vintage”, which gave them the chance to taste some old vintages, wines that were at least ten year old.
The photographic exhibition promoted by the Alimondo Ciampi Foundation was a great success, as did the blind wine tasting that every year puts the most curious palates to the test.
