Let’s have a look at some figures that show how successful this year’s enduro race has been: 150 motorcycles, two dinners, one refreshment in Vertine, two routes, the Classico Rally (206 kms., strictly for enduro bikers, with two ‘special’ routes) and the Classico Standard (200 kms. of paved and unpaved country roads, open to everybody).
This is “Il Classico in Moto”, the enduro race in the Chianti territory (that had its base in Radda in Chianti, Chiantilive organization). This year’s edition (the climax was on Saturday, October 7th) took this event to the next level.
Both from a technical point of view, the quality of the organization and the potential (there’s still more work to do, but we are only at the beginning) to develop off-season tourism in the Chianti region.
There were also some interesting events organized on the sidelines: 20 participants in the off-road driving course organized by the IMF GSSS Motorcycling School, and 30 bikers on the ‘special’ routes on Sunday, followed by a lunch in a cellar.
