“Le notti dell’Archeologia” is promoted by the Town Union of Chianti Fiorentino, in collaboration with the Museum System of Chianti and Valdarno Fiorentino and with the Gruppo Archeologico Achu.
The event is entitled: “1967-2017 Archeologia a Semifonte. Gli scavi di allora e la ricerca oggi” (past digs and present research).
The event will take place on Saturday, July 29, at 5:30 PM in the Cupola di San Michele Arcangelo in Semifonte. Meeting is called for 5:30 PM at the Cupola di San Michele Arcangelo for the visit to the places involved in the digs from the 1960’s.
At 6:30 PM, there will be a presentation curated by the research group of the University of Florence and will contain the first multimedia data from current archeological research.
