We toast the summer in Castellina in Chianti with the four appointments of “I Giovedì a Castellina” (Thursdays in Castellina), which return to liven up the Chianti village during the calendar of “Estate a Castellina”.
The event begins Thursday, July 6, at 6 PM in the Parco delle Casce and will continue every Thursday (13, 20 and 27, in July).
It features cultural initiatives accompanied by live music, artisan markets and spaces dedicated to local wine and food tasting.
“I Giovedì a Castellina”, affirms Marcello Bonechi, Mayor of Castellina in Chianti, “have became part of the Castellina summer, and this year the connection between the town administration and territory associations is confirmted. I thank the “Gruppo Idea Giovani” and Castellina Pro Caritas for the collaboration that has been going on for many years, and will once again be renewed this summer. We aim to build a program of events that will animate Thursday evenings with new chances to promote the territory”.
“Giovedì a Castellina” is organized by the Gruppo Idea Giovani, with the participation of the association, Castellina Pro Caritas, and the contribution of the town administration.
