On June 24, Chianti’n Rock a Panzano returns to Chianti. In its 18th year, organized by the association, Il Grondino, it will take place at the town soccer field; an evening that starts at 7 PM with the opening of the food stands followed by the explosive concert of The Chimichangas and Sbanebio Tropicalglamrock!
From 7 PM every evening, for the entire event, street food with panini, grilled meat, wine and beer will be available.
The first group will be The Chimichangas, a popular quartet from Prato which plays vintage 1950’s rock and roll, from the timeless Elvis and Johnny Cash to great hits redone in rockabilly: we look forward to an exciting performance.
It will then be the turn of the irreverent Florentine band: Sbanebio! Their lively show is intense, fun, danceable.
It contains a mix of sounds: rock’n’roll, ska, funk, reggae, tropical rhythms and electronic.
After the success of their last record, the “Glitter Album” and their regional 2016 tour, the tireless band presents old and new songs in their repertoire.
Thanks to an innovative mix of music and scenography, it will be a show to listen to and see, accompanied by light and color shows which will transform the Panzano field into a rock explosion!
