To promote the “slow” movement in its territory, the Township of Gaiole in Chianti has laid out 16 itineraries which cross and unite most of the environmental and historic realities of the area.
Trails have been created along the paths and white roads made famous by the Eroica race.
They allow a series of spectacular visits. Each itinerary is traced according to the signage CAI and through diverse agronomic and environmental typologies.
The idea is to walk among vineyards, rows of cypresses, castles and fortified farms, churches and restored buildings, in a changing landscape which guarantees new discoveries every day and in every season.
The publication of the Internet site, Issuu, collects info already published on the map dedicated to excursionism.
