The Cultural Association “Vitalità, was born in Valdelsa thanks to a meeting between the Polish artist, Olga Niescier and the cultural promoter, Sara Scardigli.
“Vitalità” is a team of professionals in the worlds of art, communication, and food/wine, each with specific talents at the disposition of the territory.
“Vitalità” is based in San Gimignano and supports national and international artists chosen for their work in a theme of eco-sustainability.
The artistic and food/wine itineraries proposed by the galleries of San Gimignano and Borgo Pignano are of interest, and are also found in unrelated structures in the towns of Certaldo and Barberino Val d’Elsa.
Valdelsa is rich in cultural products which, in the environment, art, and organic products, find elements that focus on a national and international public .
Through “Contemporary Wine”, a promotional event in the territory since 2015, “Vitalità” expands its cultural activities to the field of organic food and wine par excellence.
It covers a rich calendar of events and cultural meetings which celebrate the richness of the landscape and its biodiversity, its historical and cultural value, architecture, and art in the central area of Tuscany, from the Etruscans to the contemporary.
The tastings, signed” Contemporary Wine”, exhalt organic wine producers, from Vernaccia di San Gimignano, to Chianti, to non-autochthonous vines, which find an excellent terrain in Valdelsa on which to produce exceptional Syrah, Merlot, and Pinot.
Among the other organic products, there are hermetically sealed organic olive oils, bee pollen and organic saffron from San Gimignano; the last two are considered certified for environmental quality, since their production can only take place in perfect equilibrium with surrounding nature.
Preserving the territory Valdelsa and its architectural treasures, with antique flavors of the traditional cuisine, through contemporary art, installations, music and poetry; these are the objectives proposed by the new Cultural Association “Vitalità”.
