The International Center for the study of Contemporary Religions, in collaboration with the UAM (Autonomous Metropolitan University of Mexico), the Italian Association of Sociology/ Area of Sociology and Religion and the town Union of Chianti Fiorentino presents the 23rd edition of the international “Summer School on religions”, which will take place between San Gimignano and Tavarnelle on August 24 to the 27.
It is a moment of deepening the dialogue on the important theme of “Violence and Religions”, of urgent interest today to both the public and private sectors.
The program takes place over several days, one of which, (Friday, August 26) will take place in Badia a Passignano in the prestigious “Sala del Cenacolo” (Last Supper) by Ghirlandaio, which was recently restored. At the end of the day there will be a guided visit of the Abbey.
