A traditional Christmas lunch, dedicated to local products – created under the “direction” of the owner Marco Romoli and with the great experience of the chef Gero Paino – will be served to the guests (there are very few places still available).

At the Trattoria Antica Calcinaia, between Villa Le Corti and Mercatale, in San Casciano, Christmas will be simply delicious.

The lunch will start with a welcome aperitif. As starters: Pecorino cheese and pear flan with caramel-flavoured Chianti wine glaze; Scarpaccia “affettati” (cured meat) and pickled vegetables in oil.

First courses: homemade tortelli in capon broth; Homemade tagliatelle pasta (made with the Senatore Cappelli ancient variety of wheat) with duck sauce.

Second courses: Capon aspic with cannellini beans in olive oil; Roast beef with roasted potatoes. Typical Christmas sweets and coffee.
