Organized by the Pro Loco of Sambuca (Barberino Tavarnelle), the Ortica Festival also returns from 17 to 19 June.
Three days dedicated to gastronomy and entertainment, in the village along the course of the Pesa river.
Friday 17 June, from 7 pm opening of the food stand (with specialties based on nettle and rich steakhouse) and aperitif at the “Bar dei Rioni” on the banks of the Pesa.
From 9.30 pm young evening, with the DJ set of M4chino.
Saturday 18 June, at 11 am, inauguration of the photographic exhibition by the Fotoamatori Sambuca group, entitled “Tabernacles and small forgotten churches”.
From 12 to 14.30 gastronomic stand opening, with specialties based on nettle and rich grill.
At 4 pm performance by the historical group Arcieri Certaldesi.
At 5 pm entertainment for children with Alessio.
From 7 pm gastronomic stand opening, with specialties based on nettle and rich steakhouse.
At 9.30 pm Baloon Show, clown and juggling show with Giulivo.
At 11pm the Compagnia la Barraca will stage the fire show, “Fou Feu”.
Sunday 19 June, from 10 to 20 Craft Market.
At 10.30 opening of the photographic exhibition organized by the Fotoamatori Sambuca group, entitled “Tabernacles and small forgotten churches”.
At 11 am Holy Mass in the gardens with Don Pascal.
From 12 to 14.30 gastronomic stand opening, with specialties based on nettle and rich grill
At 4 pm “A cry for Peace”: international painters at Sambuca for world peace.
At 5 pm entertainment for children with Alessio
From 7 pm gastronomic stand opening, with specialties based on nettle and rich steakhouse.
At 9.30 pm there will be a big closing show with the “Quasi Uguale Show”.
