In Chianti Classico territory efforts are being made to return to normality, while respecting the anti Covid regulations, even with the many events that punctuated the autumn.

The time of wine and harvest par excellence. But, in Greve in Chianti, also that of quality and products … slow.

In fact, the “Vetrina delle Cittaslow”, the market exhibition of handicrafts and food and wine products of the International Network of the Slow Cities, returns on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October.

Good living, tasty and healthy products from all over Italy, return to Piazza Matteotti.

Saturday 3 October from 10 to 19 opening of the stands of typical products and crafts of the Cittaslow, and market of the craftsmen at work.

From 2 pm to 6 pm, in via Roma, “The land of toys”, games of the past for children of all times.

At 3.30 pm the I Duova group will perform in its comical-musical show with an agricultural theme (and more).

 

Sunday 4 October from 10 to 19 opening of the stands of typical products and crafts of the Cittaslow, and market of the craftsmen at work.

At 3 pm presentation of the book “Chianti from A to Z” by Enrico Fiori (Sarnus Editore), in the presence of Fabrizio Nepi (mayor of Castelnuovo Berardenga) and Paolo Sottani (mayor of Greve in Chianti).

At 5 pm “Per semper Paolo – Forever Paolo”: memory of the founder and honorary president (as well as former mayor of Greve in Chianti) of Cittaslow, Paolo Saturnini.

At 5.30 pm grand closing with the concert “Arie d’Opera”, with the soloists of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Academy.

This year the event is held exceptionally together with “Non solo vino”.
