But there is also a time to start over, get back to normal, to real experiences, on the pedals of your bicycle, with the wind in your face. The dust on the white roads, good food, breathtaking views.
So Eroica looks to the horizon, beyond hell and contagion, to draw up the dates of a possible, new cycling season.
Heroes from all over were supposed to meet in Buonconvento in ten days’ time for Nova Eroica and in just over a month in Montalcino for the classic springtime Eroica.
However, the emergency has obliged us to reschedule the two events that take place in the southern part of the province of Siena. Nova Eroica will indicatively take place in Buonconvento (Siena) on Sunday 25 October, while Eroica Montalcino will be held from 28 to 30 August.
The pandemic has also caused the postponement of Eroica California, which is now scheduled for 25-27 September, while Eroica Hispania will take place on Sunday 18 October.
The eighth edition of Eroica Japan has been moved to 2021, while, for the moment, the initial dates for Eroica Limburg (27 June), Eroica Germania (22 August), Eroica Dolomiti (5 September) and L’Eroica, Sunday 4 October, remain confirmed.
