Tuesday, October 29, began a year of celebrations for the 20 years of Osteria di Passignano (2000-2020), Michelin Star and Chianti pride in the charm of the hamlet of Badia, alongside the millenary Abbey.
It began with the opening dinner entitled “As we were”, which saw the current chef Nicola Damiani and the “historic” chef of the Osteria Matia Barciulli in the kitchen, featuring iconic dishes from the restaurant’s beginnings.
Present, among others, Allegra Antinori, Renzo Cotarella, the mayors of San Casciano Roberto Ciappi and Barberino Tavarnelle David Baroncelli: for a first evening with a taste of the past and the future.
Accompanied by wines (Antinori) from 2000 (Chianti Classico Villa Antinori 2000, Chianti Classico Reserve Tenute Marchese Antinori 2000, Chianti Classico Riserva Badia a Passignano 2000): the product of the vineyards and grapes of the company, in the year in which the Osteria began its wonderful journey.
