The fourth edition of the Festival of Classical Music and Opera in the Cupola of San Michele Arcangelo a Semifonte, Barberino Val d’Elsa, is about to begin.

In this jewel of the 16th century, nestled among cypresses and vineyards on a romantic Chianti hill, you will be able to listen to musical masterpieces after being enchanted by the sunset.


Six appointments are featured in this edition, every Monday at 9 PM from July 24 to August 28: a piano recital, a lyric concert and chamber music.

Many masterpieces will be featured: Ciaccona by Vitali, and Fantasia by Schubert, for example, as well as the Sonata Op. 35 by Chopin, and other celebrated arias by, Puccini, Mozart.

There will also be rarely performed pieces like the Lieder by Brahms, the Romanze Op. 94 by Schumann and others.
