On Saturday, July 8, “Le notti dell’Archeologia – Archeo-geo passeggiata alla scoperta delle terre etrusche” will take place.
Once again, the GEB (Gruppo Escursionisti Berardenga), is adhering to the initiative in collaboration with the Museo del Paesaggio of Castelnuovo Berardenga.
Meeting is scheduled for 5:15 PM. From there we will procede in auto towards the springs of the Ombrone, where the excursion will begin and move towards Villa a Sesta, along a 5 kilometer trail. An expert geologist will illustrate the important characteristics of the territory.
You can participate in a “merenda-aperitivo” for 5 euros at arrival. A relay of autos will bring back the drivers to their cars.
They, in turn, will go back for friends and family. For members of the F.I.E. admission is free. For the others, a day policy will be activated for 5 euros. Trekking shoes or well-soled shoes are necessary in addition to drinking water.
