A rainy wedding day once again reaffirmed the magic of a Chianti wedding. Wedding tourism has become important for town administrations in Chianti.

It is an area that WeChianti will talk about more often, in collaboration with those who contribute to make the events increasingly  more exciting.

On a rainy October day in 2016, 2 worlds and 2 cultures united. The wedding took place in Barberino Val d’Elsa, at Quercia al Poggio, in the village of Monsanto.

Here is the short story, through words and in video, of the wedding of Aaron and Caroline, both arriving with their guests from South Africa and Brazil on that rainy October day.

The venue formed a perfect frame to crown their promises, surrounded by the warmth of their friends and relatives. With our cinematic eye, we know that on early autumn days, a little rain gives us great light conditions.

But rain is that unforeseen occurrence that seems to ruin the day. This wedding, however was made more beautiful by the rain for all senses involved: that tip tap of the rain mixed with the warm laughter from Brazil, the fragrance of wet terrain, wet hands clasping, all giving an incredible flavor to the day.

This was the union of cultures, of different worlds, an overwhelming happiness that will overcome every obstacle.
