Christmas is in the air in Castelnuovo Berardenga: “Associazioni in Festa” present the program for the second edition of “Aspettando Natale (Waiting for Christmas) in Castelnuovo”, Saturday and Sunday, December 10 and 11.
This year will bring many new events; workshops for children in “La Bottega di Geppetto” (Geppetto’s Shop): children will build a wooden toy together and bring it home: games and activities in the street: the first “Burraco” tournament; street show with Zastawa Orkestar, and many other happenings.
On both days, you can walk among the market stands, rich with gift ideas thanks to the participation of many artisans. This year, you will also find local specialties, thanks to the participation of the cooperative, “Il Tartufo (truffle) delle Creti Senesi”, with fresh truffles and related products.
The Association “Classico Berardenga” will offer the possibility to taste and buy the best wines of the local countryside. Thanks to the collaboration of the team at Villa a Sesta, you can buy products from Norcia.
On Saturday, you can write a letter to Santa Claus thanks to the bookstore, “Il libro magico”. Finally, Santa will arrive with his elf helpers. With a program like this, you can’t help but visit Castelnuovo Berardenga for the holidays!
