Elisa Verniani, from Greve in Chianti, is a young hand decorator who works in one of the most renowned and prestigious firms in the world for the production of porcelain: Richard Ginori. Now Gucci Richard Ginori after the latest positive business developments.

Born in 1986, she has worked in the Sesto Fiorentino factory for six years now. She graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence in 2011 with top grades; specializing precisely in her passion for decoration, nevertheless her skill in the arts go from painting, to artistic drawing, sculpture, photography and include the noble art of the fresco.

A polyhedral artist, she creates various kinds of objects, although primarily referring to natural surroundings or the emotions towards them. The place where she lives is fundamental for her, her philosophy being: “Chianti is lifeblood … it gives inspiration and strength to express oneself and work in an ever new and creative manner. This without abandoning traditions and values ​​that we have received and acquire daily both at work and in routine life. ”

Despite her age, she already has several participations in competitions and art exhibitions both at local and national level. These show her versatility. Her first, but the more prestigious solo exhibition, entitled “Chianti … between reality and dreams”, held in 2013 at the exhibition hall of the Museum of Sacred Art of San Francesco in Greve in Chianti.

Another participation to note in 2013. She participated in the photo contest “Chianti is work”, organized by the online newspaper Il Gazzettino del Chianti, winning with her picture “My father’s fatigue.”

Two new and interesting events in which she will have an important role in 2016: “Mercantia” international arts festival that will be held in the scenic and picturesque surroundings of the Castle of Certaldo in the next few days, July 13th to 17th. During this event, real full immersions in art and crafts will take place, in which Elisa too will practically demonstrate the painting on porcelain technique.

Another event not to be missed will be the exhibition “Florence Porcelain” which will take place during the exhibition “Expo Chianti Classico” in Greve in Chianti from 8th to 12th September 2016 in the picturesque setting of Piazza Matteotti. For the occasion, some of the works will be on the theme “Chianti Classico”.

Elisa keeps up her interest in china daily, but at the same time keeps up her various artistic passions in order to increase her manual skills and knowledge. As she often says ” One must not presume to know everything, but must have the humility to understand that you never will stop learning . “
