The Chianti Classico Collection becomes … Connection: a global meeting in 6 cities in 5 countries around the world.

Chicago, Florence, London, Munich, New York, Tokyo: the new vintages of Gallo Nero wines in a global meeting between producers and professionals.

After 27 editions of the now traditional in-person tasting, a meeting point between members of the Consortium and professionals from the sector and the press, the Gallo Nero radically innovates the formula for presenting the latest vintages.

Two days in May, Thursday 20 and Friday 21, for the cities of Chicago, Florence, London and New York, while on June 22 and 23 it is Munich’s turn, to close with Tokyo on June 30.

In these six cities, tastings will be held in the presence of the new vintages of Chianti Classico, exclusively by invitation and addressed to a selected sector audience.

The Black Rooster scene is also expanding during events: for the first time the Consortium is launching a hybrid format between tasting in the presence of professionals and online interaction with producers.

Through the platform Brella, integrated with the new virtual catalog developed by Bottlebooks, each participant will be able to make appointments or interact in chat with the producers during the tasting.

A global edition that promises important numbers: over 2.800 people are expected, including professionals and journalists, to taste about 10.000 bottles of the over 400 labels presented.

On tasting the Gallo Nero in its declinations: 196 vintage Chianti Classico labels, in addition to 9 previews of the 2020 harvest, 139 of Chianti Classico Riserva and 98 of Chianti Classico Gran Selezione.

But a real preview cannot miss the wines suitable to become: there are 16 wines that aspire to become Chianti Classico vintage, and 14 Chianti Classico Riserva.

To complete an already rich tasting also the amber nuance of Vin Santo del Chianti Classico, presented by 35 companies, and the green gold of Oil DOP Chianti Classico, with 34 labels.
