The thirteenth edition of “Chianti in Musica” Music Festival is about to start in San Donato in Poggio.
Once again, many music students from all over the world have chosen “Chianti in Musica” to continue studying and improving during the summer.
It starts on Saturday 21st July at 8.30pm, not with a concert, but with a fund-raising dinner in favour of “Chianti in Musica”; dinner accompanied by musical entertainment thanks to the students of the advanced courses.
Among the specifics of “Chianti in Music” is the fact that the teachers and the students share meals as well as spending time together when studying or performing.
Hence the choice to open “Chianti in Musica”, as has already happened in 2017, with a dinner in which not only teachers and students participate, but all those who want to offer their support to “Chianti in Music”.
The dinner – served at Il Girasole Restaurant, which also takes care of all the lunches of the Chianti in Musica canteen – aims to bring attention to the material needs of this event that has been held every summer in San Donato in Poggio for thirteen years.
