From June 1-25, Cerbaia (San Casciano) will be hosting a series of events with food, fun and games for the young and old, and the traditional Palio de’ Ciuchi.
It is time for the “Festa Arte e Sport”, organized by the Usd Cerbaia. The incredible program for this year is as follows.
Thursday, June 1st: 7 PM tournament “A.NINCI – F. LEONCINI” category GIOVANISSIMI; 8:30 PM: DR WHY?.
Friday, June 2: : “GIORNATA DELL’ARTE”. 11.30 AM 1° COLLETTIVA “CERBAIA IN ARTE”; 7 PM Tournament “A.NINCI – F. LEONCINI” category/ PICCOLI AMICI 2010 and PRIMI CALCI 2008/09; 9:30 PM TOMBOLA (bingo) ANIMATA.

Sunday, June 4: “GIORNATA DELLO SPORT”. 10.30 AM market opens, 11 AM, tennis match in favor of the UNITA’ SPINALE; 4 PM LO SPORT SI PRESENTA, in collaboration with sports associations of the area; 4 PM demonstration, AGILITY DOG and RALLY-O run by the “BECK’S HILL AGILITY TEAM”; 5:30 PM, soccer match “PER CRESCERE INSIEME”; 8:30 PM SERATA VILLAGGIO with GIADINA (games and dancing for young and old).

Tournament of the neighborhoods: 3:30 PM, presentation of the “squires” and all participants to the public (in “Piazza del monumento”); 4 PM, tournament of medieval fencing; 8 PM CENA MEDIEVALE (Medieval dinner) with fencing demonstration; 9:15 PM, HEMA IN ARMIS traditional and historic sporting competition; 9:45 PM “FUOCO ALLE POLVERI” demonstration of scenic equipment (CANNONS) with explanation by Marco Sunday, June 18: “Medieval WEEK END” in collaboration with the COMPAGNIA DELLE SàRTIE. Tournament of the neighborhoods: 10 AM, opening of the medieval market and…; 10 AM Tournament of historic Archery; 4 PM semi-finals of medieval fencing. Sunday, June 25: 10 AM market opens; 10.30 AM SANTA MESSA ALL’APERTO AL CAMPO SPORTIVO (outdoor mass on the soccer field); 5 PM Match-up of donkeys and trials for the Palio de’ Ciuchi; 6:30 PM historic parade along the town with the participation of musicians and flag throwers. During the parade, donkeys and riders will be blessed in front of the Cerbaia church. Followed by the extraction and matching of the lottery tickets to the donkeys . 10 PM; race of the Palio de’ Ciuchi (on the soccer field); presented and commented on by the speaker; 11:30 PM, Grand Finale with fireworks. During the entire event, dinner will be available at the food stand. On Sundays and on June 2, lunch will also be available. Grilled meat, frittelli and pizza (also takeout). Every evening, bar with happy hour and cocktails, panini, amusement park for chldren, and photgraphy show by excellent photographers from Cerbaia. During the festival, the 16th Tennis tournament, male singles, “E. Morelli”, will take place.
