Mark your calendars for two days of appointments in San Casciano. On Saturday and Sunday, September 10 and 11th, the town will be transformed by young musicians and the project, “Homes”.

The initiative was born from the desire to give young people the keys to their town. On those two days, under the guide of the artist, Luca di Castri, the town’s youth will be able to design and creat artistic installations with the theme, “house”, and to attend a percussion work shop using recycled material, led by a young local talent, Niccolò Magazzini.

On Saturday, September 10, the”ex Stianti” Terrace will be decorated with works created by the youngsters, together with installations created on site by 15 artists and students who, for the occasion, will share their idea of “home” with us. A special thanks goes to the sculptress, Lizzy Sainsbury, promoter of the project.

The appointment is for Saturday, September 10, when beginning at 5 PM, the town of San Casciano will vibrate from the percussions of the “Pulsar”.

Live readings and music will animate the center of the town, starting at 5 PM on Saturday, September 10, culminating in the Fair of the San Casciano Volunteers in the Dante Tacci Park.

On Sunday, the 11th, starting at 5 PM, there will be more music in the street and a performance by Francesco Mancini and Roberto Gioffrè, inspired by the text, “Polvere di Pelle”. A concert by the Music Camp of the Arci Babilonia will conclude the evening in the arena behind the town walls.
