High quality food and wine amidst the vineyards of the Querceto di Castellina winery: there will be two very special dinners and a luncheon, created through the collaboration between the Tenda Rossa restaurant of San Casciano and the above named winery, producer of organic wine.
The two dinners will take place on September 10 and 17, starting at 6:30 PM, while the lunch is scheduled for September 25, starting at 1 PM.
We willl begin with a glass of rose’ wine, enjoyed with owner, Jacopo Di Battista. The dinner, priced at 90 Euros, will be led by Livia of Querceto di Castellina with the chef of La Tenda Rossa, Maria Probst, in the kitchen.
The menu follows: Antipasto….terrine of tomato and basil, ﬂan of Certaldo onions, pralines of liver bread, crostino of grape tomatoes and pecorino First course…..pici in ragu’ made with chickens from Valdarno, lime and porcini mushrooms Second course….. grilled pigeon with wine must sauce Dessert… assorted chocolates and cookies.
Dinner will be served with the following wines: Furtivo IGT Toscana Rosato 2015, L’aura Chianti Classico DOCG 2013; Sei Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione 2012; Podalirio IGT Toscana Merlot 2012.
