Pentecoste in Castellina, organized by the winemakers of Castellina in Chianti, returns to Castellina in Chianti.
It will take place from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 June.
Among the highlights the dinner on Friday 3 June, “A cena con il Classico”.
And the two days of tastings with the producers, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June.
“A CENA CON IL CLASSICO”
The dinner date, under the vaults in the historic center of Castellina in Chianti, is organized by the Albergaccio restaurant in Castellina (starts at 8pm).
This is the menu.
Crispy cecina millefeuille, cod in extra virgin olive oil and confit cherry tomatoes
Risotto with asparagus with Parmesan fondue and saffron from the Florentine hills
Suckling pig flavored with myrtle with parmesan aubergines
English soup with savoyard, light vanilla cream and Alkermes jelly

TASTINGS WITH THE PRODUCERS
The tasting counters will be open on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June, from 3pm to 8pm.
From 3 to 5 June free opening of the Archaeological Museum of Chianti Senese (piazza del Comune 17) from 12 to 23 (ordinary opening every day 11-19).
Sunday 5th June from 9 to 20 craft market in collaboration with the artisans and hobbyists of Castellina in Chianti.
Saturday and Sunday musical events organized by the Philharmonic of Castellina in Chianti.
