The IN-CHIANTI project was born today, Wednesday 29 April, from an idea of ​​the Xtramondo Viaggi agencies of Barberino Tavarnelle and Oceanya.it of San Casciano.

From the slogan circulating on social networks #nonsmetteremodiviaggiare and from the manifesto promoted by FTO “Let’s start from Italy”, the two owners of the agencies had the intuition to promote the territory and its countless resources.

The Coronavirus emergency is generating a serious crisis in the entire tourism sector: therestrictive measures to stop the virus have resulted in facing a crisis in tourism never seen before.

It is therefore in this context that the project is aimed at accommodation facilities and tourist operators in the area in order to create a collaborative network aimed at creating a package of tailor-made proposals in our reality, a small piece of Chianti that it becomes a treasure chest to discover, aimed at national customers.

From weekends to weekly stays with themed proposals, unusual routes and alternative visits to the usual circuits, the intent is to make the municipalities of Chianti discover a target audience who generally paid attention to other destinations.

Holidays for families, for lovers of good food, but also for those who prefer an energy holiday in contact with nature or those who leave with the intention of knowing the traditions, history and art with which we are surrounded.
