“The Chianti will soon shine again. United, during this momentary isolation, we will make it!”.
Beautiful, encouraging words accompany the emotion-filled images that show various communities of the Chianti region, as they work, produce, enhance their territory, welcome people, have fun and cherish their quality time. With great sacrifices, love for life and a common sense of responsibility.
The Chianti is a vital, dynamic, creative land, and now that the Covid-19 health emergency forces citizens and workers not to leave the house, six Mayors want to relaunch their land with greater vigour.
The Mayors are from the Florentine and Sienese area, and are now working together online to promote their towns and areas to tourists (as part of the Ambito Turistico del Chianti).
They are the Municipalities of Barberino Tavarnelle, Castellina in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, Castelnuovo Berardenga, San Casciano, Radda in Chianti.
“We’ve produced a video to inspire people, looking forward to the rebirth of our beautiful territory – declare Paolo Sottani, Roberto Ciappi, David Baroncelli, Fabrizio Nepi, Pier Paolo Mugnaini and Marcello Bonechi – We did it together, as Ambito Turistico del Chianti, thanks to the talent of a young local team from Swolly creative studio, specialising in Branding and Visual design. These professionals have made their work available for free, supporting the area they love and where they live. We thank Daniele, Davide and Francesco and all those who, moved by these images, will continue to do their part, staying at home, respecting the rules”.
“Together we will go back to normal life – the Mayors remark in their hopeful message for a bright future – and we’ll once again promote and enhance our land. We’ll work, know, learn, produce and travel together with our dreams, as one can only do in the Chianti”.
