Would you like to spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve in the magical setting of Badia a Passignano? Of course you would!

Here, at the Ristoro L’Antica Scuderia, something truly special awaits the guests: two excellent menus created by the chef Maria Abbarchini and the owner Stefano Puliti. These menus fit perfectly with the great events program that started in November and will continue for most of 2018.

Let’s start with the Christmas menu. Appetizer: ‘Bollito misto’ and Russian salad presented tartare-style (boiled capon, beef meat and tongue).

First courses: Ricotta cheese and spinach Cannelloni with baked tomato fondant; Pumpkin Risotto with amaretto crumble and ‘finto tartufo al blu’.

Second courses: stuffed guinea-fowl with mashed potatoes. Dessert: Doughnut filled with mandarin ice cream. Price: 60 euros per person, wines not included.

And now let’s move on… to the New Year’s Eve dinner menu. Welcome toast with Prosecco Col dei Salici. Appetizers: Hot carboncino cheese with crispy artichokes; Liver terrine with strawberry grape, pan brioches and dried fruit and nuts; Lentil soup with zampone (pig’s trotter stuffed with flavoured minced pork meat).

First courses: Lasagnetta with pecorino cheese and winter mushrooms. Main dishes: Braised pork cheek with celeriac purée. Dessert: Meringue with chantilly cream, pomegranate and pink grapefruit. Gran Cuvée Bellavista wine for the midnight toast. Price: 90 euros per person.
