Recently a very special gathering has taken place, all in the name of wine and conviviality. An occasion to share passion for the world of grapes and wine.

The council member for agriculture of the Regione Toscana Marco Remaschi, the Mayor of San Casciano Massimiliano Pescini, the representative of the Peruvian Consulate, local producers and sommeliers all took part in the event. As, of course, did the Peruvian Damas del Pisco.

On Tuesday, October 17th, women from Tuscany and from Peru met and enjoyed some excellent products together, at the Tenuta Il Corno in San Pancrazio (San Casciano), owned by the new representative of the Donne del Vino della Toscana Association, Maria Giulia Frova.

“This has been a great opportunity to get together and share our knowledge of wine and winegrowing – said Maria Giulia Frova – We’ve presented the Damas del Pisco eight interpretations of the Sangiovese grape, which is Tuscany’s flagship”.

The Damas del Pisco have had the chance to taste the Rosato IGT Roseas 2016 Tenuta Il Corno; Centocamini IGT 2016 campione da botte Tenuta di Artimino; Spato IGT 2014 Azienda Terradonnà; Chianti Rufina Docg Riserva 2011, Azienda Agricola Colognole; San Camillo Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva 2013 Tenuta Il Corno; Maestro Nobile di Montepulciano Docg Fattoria di Palazzo Vecchio; Chianti Classico Gran Selezione La Prima 2009 Castello di Vicchiomaggio; Brunello di Montalcino Docg 2012 Scopone Società Agricola.
