The event ,“Amici Miei – Alluvionati dentro” (Flooded inside), will take place on Saturday, November 5, in Florence.
It was born for the rediscovery of a series of cult films of our country, “Amici Miei”. The films, written by Pietro Germi and directed by Mario Monicelli, recount the adventures of 4 inseparable lifelong friends: Florentines, around 50 years old, who confront their difficulties by playing tricks on the unexpecting.
Among the protagonists, the most well known is Raffaello Mascetti, the famous count of the “supercazzola prematurata”. The event is in its first Florentine edition, born specifically on November 5, immediately following the 50 year anniversary of the 1966 Florence flood (November 4).
The event, that was featured in various entertaining scenes during the second act of the film, will be screened at the Cinema Spazio Alfieri of Florence in via dell’Ulivo 6 after a guided tour by the girls of “Tre Passi Per Firenze”, which, starting in the afternoon, will lead to the discovery of locations from the film.
