Fourteen Tuscan municipalities will be able to benefit from the non-repayable contribution of the Region to create new parking areas for campers and motorhomes or to refurbish and expand existing ones.
Twenty-eight municipal administrations participated in the call published at the end of January and closed on March 5: twenty projects were admitted.
With the resources available, equal to 487 thousand euros, nine administrations received 40 thousand euros, another two 35 thousand and 31 thousand and three 20 thousand.
The contributions cover up to half of the admissible expenditure (only in part for the fourteenth approved project).
The projects financed concern, in order of points, the Municipalities of San Romano in Garfagnana (40 thousand euros), Monticiano (40 thousand), Cetona (40 thousand), Gaiole in Chianti (40 thousand), Civitella Paganico (40 thousand), Sillano Giuncugnano (40,000), Fivizzano (40,000), Massa Marittima (20,000), Montepulciano (40,000), Careggine (20,000), Seggiano (40,000), Santa Luce (35,842), Chiusdino (20,000) and Pontremoli (31,157 euros).
The ranking could be scrolled in case of renunciation or availability of more resources.
In fact, the proposals of the Municipalities of Reggello, Vernio, Montecatini Val di Cecina, Vinci, Barberino di Mugello and Greve in Chianti, currently on the waiting list, have also been accepted, but not funded at the moment.
The parking areas to be built must be “green”, ie one fifth of the space occupied by hedges and trees, with at least five stalls of no less than 40 square meters.
Equipped with the classic charging columns and self-cleaning floor drainage areas, i.e. without grates or drains.
The further condition for being able to benecify the contribution is the completion of the works by December 2022.
