Sunflowers in Chianti? Yes, the time has come to enjoy and photograph them.

Where is it? In the fields in Sambuca, along the old road (Sp94 Chiantigiana) that leads from Pontenuovo to the hamlet.

On the border between the municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle and that of San Casciano.

A corner of the territory owned by the Fattoria Villa Sant’Andrea, which every year in crop rotation “designs” dream scenarios.

In particular with wheat (even that now is splendid, golden and ripe) and sunflowers.

So if you want to go and enjoy these wonderful crops, and maybe take some nice photos, now is the time.

Soon the wheat will be harvested, while the sunflowers are still in full bloom. But, as you know, quickly … they fade away.
