Saturday, December 14, starting at 11 am and until late afternoon, in the square Gastone Bucciarelli in Panzano in Chianti the traditional Christmas Market will take place, organized by the cultural tourist association Il Grondino.
The square will be decorated with handicraft products, gift ideas and food stands where it will be possible to have lunch with hot dogs, “lampredotto”, Christmas cakes and other specialties. And it will be possible to “refresh” yourself with hot chocolate and mulled wine.
Santa Claus will arrive in the afternoon, accompanied by his elves, and will be available for all children who want to take a picture with him and deliver their letter directly to his hands.
There will also be a lottery that offers numerous prizes, including baskets with gourmet products kindly supplied by the merchants of the town and vouchers to be consumed in restaurants or at other merchants.
The lottery is organized by the mothers of the hamlet and the proceeds will be used to support the school’s activities.
In fact, a group of willing mothers has been collaborating for years with the Grondino for the realization of this event, which allows to provide concrete help to the projects carried out by the school.
