Street food, from the street vendor... to the Michelin Stars. October 13: Dit'unto a Villa a Sesta

Sunday 13 October in the fairy hamlet of Villa a Sesta (Castelnuovo Berardenga), backs Dit’unto, the festival of eating with the hands.

A day of celebration (starting at 11) dedicated to street food: from traditional food, sold by the peddler who keeps the local or family tradition alive, to the dish prepared for the occasion, and often on the spot, from a Michelin Star restaurant.

And then jugglers, street artists and street bands will parade through the streets of the village.

For the more energetic, the day will be opened by the Trekking Group Berardenga which offers a walk around the village, starting at 9 am.

And for those who do not want to have parking problems and relax completely, there is the “UntoBus” will make three departures from Siena.
