A marvellous Easter lunch in a dream setting. Where? At “Il Convento” of Casa Chianti Classico, in Radda in Chianti.

A menu full of seasonal local products: Convento Aperitif and ciaccini with oil and rosemary. As starters: Chickpea pie, hard boiled egg, Chianina bresaola, Tuscan salame, crostini with olives and fava beans & fresh pecorino salad.

First courses: cream of asparagus and wholemeal bread croutons; olive lasagnetta, Tuscan ham and pecorino cheese.

As main courses: rack of lamb with pistachios served with misticanza salad; spinach, Modena balsamic vinegar, pine nuts, flakes of seasoned Tuscan pecorino salad.

Dessert: homemade Easter Colomba cake with mascarpone cream. Water and coffee. Price: 35 euros.
