The town of Barberino Val d’Elsa is almost ready for the practice of “il matrimonio in villa”. They plan to give townspeople and visitors the opportunity to make their wedding day special among the hills of the Chianti region.

They plan to open decentralized offices in some of the most prestigious buildings of the territory. The project has already caught on in Greve in Chianti and the town of San Casciano.

The Greve  Township created a decentralized municipal office thanks to the collaboration between two prestigious area structures: the Vicchiomaggio castle and the Verrazzano castle. In San Casciano the new location where a couple can marry will be the Niccolini theater.

The town administration has initiated the designation of a decentralized municipal office within the theater, located in Via Roma. These functional town hall offices have been created in buildings of particular historic, architectural, environmental or artistic value for the town territory.
