This year, the town of Castellina in Chianti is renewing its yearly appointment, “Giovedì a Castellina”, (Thursdays in Castellina).
The animated evenings will begin on Thursday, July 7, and continue for the Thursdays of July 14, 21 and 28, with cultural initiatives accompanied by live music, markets and areas where you can buy typical products and flavors of the territory at the Parco delle Casce, starting at 7pm.
“I Giovedì a Castellina”, affirms the Mayor of Castellina in Chianti, Marcello Bonechi, ”have become a summer appointment in Castellina and an occasion to promote and make our town known. Thanks to the synergy and collaboration, which has characterized, for many years, the rapport between the town administration and the associations of the territory, starting with the Gruppo Idea Giovani and Castellina Pro Caritas (Charity), it was again possible to build a program of events which will make Thursday evenings in Castellina alive. The local community has a strong desire to promote its own territory”.
