Astronomy, entertainment, music and good wine come together again in the appointment with Calici di Stelle, scheduled in Castelnuovo Berardenga on Wednesday 4 August, Saturday 7 August and Friday 13 August.

The three-day event is promoted by the Città del Vino association and by the wineries belonging to the Wine Tourism Movement with the patronage of the municipal administration.

To access the initiatives it will be necessary to comply with the regulations on the Green pass provided for by Decree-law n.105 of 23 July 2021 to counter the spread of Covid-19, in force starting from Friday 6 August.

The program

Calici di Stelle will start on Wednesday 4 August, at 7 pm, from the Chianti Sculpture Park with “A rimirar le stelle”, an appointment dedicated to the tasting of the wines of the winemakers of the Classico Berardenga Association with a picnic organized in the Amphitheater of the Park.

Starting at 9 pm, it will also be possible to observe the stars in the company of the professionals of the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Siena.

Saturday 7 August Calici di Stelle will move to the heart of Castelnuovo Berardenga, in Piazza Marconi, with “Castelnuovo Musical Night”.

The event will see the staging of the show “Return to fly pentagram of words”, inserted in the review of the Chianti Festival and followed by the assignment of the “Star of the show” award, in its second edition.

The event, conceived by Laura Cellerini with the artistic direction of Marco Pedrieri, actor and director, is promoted with the patronage of the Tuscany Region and will see the presence of numerous artists, including the singer-songwriter Mariella Nava, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for Music; the actress Margherita Fumero, Theater Award; the chansonnier Donatella Alamprese, Notes of Italy in the World Award; Simone Marzola, Antonio Lanza and the Vocal Trio The ladies special prizes for musical theater; Marco Simeoli and Francesca Nunzi, who will dedicate a tribute to their teacher Gigi Proietti.

Friday 13 August, starting at 7 pm, Piazza Marconi will host “Calici di Stelle nel Borgo”, with tastings of wines and typical products made available by local farms and wineries.

The evening will be accompanied, from 9 pm, by the music of the Sound Hills Quartet and the opportunity to observe the stars in the company of the Senesi Astrofili Union.

The Landscape Museum will also join the evening and will open its doors to the little ones with the show “Bubbles of soap bubbles”, scheduled from 9 pm in the garden of the structure.
