Not only vineyards and olive groves in the Chianti Classico zone: here they are, in the beautiful photos taken by our Antonio Taddei, fantastic sunflowers every few years are sown in the fields along the course of the Pesa, in the area of Pontenuovo (Sambuca).
A unique, breathtaking landscape, which you can see from “Autopalio” (Florence-Siena route), reaching the exit of Tavarnelle from San Casciano-Bargino.
A fabulous expanse that you can try to achieve by doing a nice walk out in Tavarnelle from the Florence-Siena. Then taking the road that passes in front of the Chiantigiane, once parked, make a few hundred meters walk up… the Yellow Sea.
