The “Barberino in Fiore” Festival is back on Saturday 12^th and Sunday 13^th May in the Medieval village of Barberino, located between the Chianti area and the Val d’Elsa. This new edition will bring some very special surprises.

You’ll enjoy the beautiful plants exhibition, that will bring colour to the streets of the historic centre, and a variety of handcrafted products. At night time the Florentine and Sienese gates will be beautifully illuminated as well as the church’s façade, making the village even more atmospheric.

Expect a lively weekend, with the “Coro la musica dei bambini” (Children’s music choir) and the legendary “Bandaccia di Marcialla” that will fill Saturday afternoon with music and fun.

In the evening we dance with the “Cialtronight”, with a show in which the audience is involved in a world of 70s/80s songs. Free admission.

On Sunday afternoon the “Large street band” will liven up the streets of the historic centre.

During the whole weekend you’ll be able to taste some excellent local food and wine: from the stalls set up at the “Barrino” premises -organized by Caritas and economic operators – in addition to more food stalls, and wines from various local farms.

Moreover, the Palazzo Corsini’s courtyard will host the photo exhibition “VeggieSeno” – of the group “Il peso delle emozioni” (The weight of emotions) -and in the Spedale Pellegrini it will be possible to see the exhibition of Leto Fratini “Anima e Materia”.
