A tasting menu filled with autumn’s scents and flavours, and paired with the wines of Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinicolo.

This is the theme of the dinner that will take place on Friday 9th November at Vitique (Greti, Greve in Chianti).

This dinner is part of a highly successful “taste journey” organised by Vitique, in a beautiful part of the Chianti area.

Tasting dinner starts at 8.30pm. To follow: Tour of the Santa Margherita Tenimenti Toscani winery.

Menu and wine pairing: Welcome aperitif (Kettmeir – Spumante Brut Alto Adige Metodo Classico Rosè 2015); Cuttlefish, Florentine-style tripe, Parmigiano cheese and beetroot (Sassoregale – Rosè Maremma Toscana Doc 2017); Beef tongue, prawn, hazelnut and onion mayonnaise (Cantina Mesa – Rosa Grande Carignano del Sulcis Doc).

Ravioli stuffed with pheasant “alla cacciatora” and pecorino cheese (Lamole di Lamole – Chianti Classico DOCG 2015); Fish soup with squid ink croccante (Kettmeir – Pinot Noir Athesis “Maso Reiner” Alto Adige Doc 2015); Chestnut, yoghurt and citrus pie (Kettmeir – Moscato Rosa Athesis Alto Adige Doc 2013).
