Montefioralle Divino is back this September. On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd, the popular Wine Festival organised and promoted by the Associazione Viticoltori di Montefioralle takes place in the hamlet of Montefioralle (Greve in Chianti).

The festival includes the tasting of Chianti Classico wines (Annata, Riserva and Gran Selezione) offered by various local producers at the tasting stands. It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on wines.

The stands will be set up in the square just outside the Castle’s walls. You can buy a glass at the entrance for 17 euros (discounted price of 12 euros if you register online at: www.viticoltorimontefioralle.com) to taste as many wines as you like from the ones on offer.

You’ll also find food stands in addition to the restaurants and bars that will be open as usual during the two days of the event.

On Sunday, September 23rd at 11am (and again at 2pm) a special tasting event will take place, moderated by Emanuele Costantini, best Italian sommelier Fisar 2017.

Specifically, the various producers will guide us in the tasting of the Chianti Classico Riserva vintage 2012. The event costs 12 euros when booked online via the event page. The places available for this tasting are 20 + 20.

The following wineries will be participating in the event: Altiero, Brogioni Maurizio, Castello di Verrazzano, Grassi Roberto, Le Palaie, Montefioralle, Podere Bucine, Podere Campriano, San Cresci, Terre di Baccio, Terre di Melazzano, Villa Calcinaia, Viticcio.
